I made these a little while back, but only posting them now as I've only just got good pics of them to show. They're now for sale in my Misi store.

The green one above is my fave. Both made with handmade lampwork beads, from the same supplier, silver plate filligree style pendant and faux suede cord. The green beads have a brown cord, and the purple/pink ones below have a black one. Both for sale in Misi @ £20.

Hi all,

It's been a while, eh? Muse still kinda abandoned me, but I'm trying my best. The lovely Aviya Glass awarded me this lovely award, so that's kinda spurred me on to make a post, and get things moving a little forward again. Thanks hun!! :o)


The requirements of this are; I must thank the person who gave me this (yay hun!!) and link their blog... done and done. ;o) Now... 10 honest things about myself. Ooohhh... have to watch what I say here. LOL.

1. I'm always down on myself.
2. I'm constantly tired.
3. I am unique and different - and proud of the fact.

10. It takes me far too long to do things sometimes.

It's been a while, eh?

I'm trying to get back into things, but I've lost my mojo somewhat, and my muse is nowhere to be seen. I've not really done anything with jewellery for a while, but I'm hopeful that something will happen soon. Got a couple of things done yesterday, but I'm not posting them yet I don't think... I want to see if my muse/mojo is making a comeback first.

I'm sorry I've been awol for a while, but sometimes life just gets on top of you a little. Miss my buddies here and at the forum, but you can still find me on facebook. I'll get back into everything once I'm feeling more human, which hopefully won't be far away. I'm on a week off from work (go back Tues) so maybe by the end of that I'll feel up to getting involved again, and creating.

Mini update. The chainwork pendant necklace and earring set, and the chainwork bracelet are now available in Misi!

Small post today, as I'm running out of time. Again, lol. Misi store updated with a couple of new pieces, one of them my first male oriented piece.

These earrings are sterling silver with Swarovski crystal and fluorite beads. Absolutely stunning in the sunlight, as this pic shows. I was blessed with the light that day!


The pendant necklace above is so far removed from what I usually do, but I had so much fun putting it together! Time consuming, but worth it I think. Silver plate chain and pendant, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals, and a pair of earrings to match. Hopefully for sale soon in my Misi store, which I'm in the process of setting up.

Just a little view of the new gift packaging I have available. Most items would come with just the standard black pillow box, with white tissue paper wrapping inside. If requested, this is the gift wrapping available for a modest cost. (probably £1 extra)

Far nicer than the standard boxes I have been using, and a little more creative and different to the norm..? I think so. ;)

Quick upload of something new. It's late, I'm tired, and I've been working on things all day. I'll maybe show more tomorrow, eh?

These are river jasper earrings, with sterling silver earwires and a sterling silver enhancer bail pendant.

I'm not sure if I should use a chain or other beads with the pendant, or just leave it as is... I'll decide before I set up for sale.

Really like this stone, it's unusual. I still have some left, so I might use some with some freshwater pearls, and maybe shell pieces too... all in the same river/water theme.

Okay, this is one to note. Yesterday, 6 Apr 09, I had my first website sale. From a friend at the forum, and she ordered one of my fave pieces. I still can't believe I've had a sale, and it all went through with NO problems at all.

It's sitting here, just waiting to be posted tomorrow. Done up all fancy and pretty, with my new packaging...

Well, it's now April. How time flies! This week is really busy for me with overtime in my 'paying job', which is good I suppose; the extra cash will come in handy now that the contracted hours have been cut. But still... it means I have no time for anything remotely crafty, so things are on a back burner for the moment.

But, I wanted to ask if anyone had the same problem as me. I really wish I hadn't started wearing things for self promotion. It's a good way to get your things out there and being seen by people, but I have totally fallen in love with a pair of rose quartz and sterling silver earrings. Totally. They're chaos wrapped like the carnelian ones in my previous post, but smaller and faceted. I'll take a pic eventually when I get time and good light.

I will sell them. Grudgingly. Lol.

Anyone sympathise..?

Hope everyone's well. I can't believe I have ONE day left of my days off, and I'm back to work on Thurs. Where does the time go..?!

Spent all my birthday cash now. Bought two rings in a sale yesterday lunch time. Which arrived today! Yes... today!!! Honestly, the service from this place is just outstanding. Not a handmade site, but when you get delicious jewellery, a sale, and awesome service... you're gonna buy something, right?! :p I've used them before and would highly recommend.

Also bought some clothes today; a new top, skirt and partly crochet long length cardi. I've realised I have a purple fetish. Everything I bought today has purple in it, or IS purple. lmao.

Hi all,

Quick sneak peek of some pieces I'm making with the new delivery of gems! Oh gosh I love em, lol. All earrings so far, as they're the quickest and easiest to make imo.

On the far left, peace stone (form of Jade I believe). In the middle is again, peace stone. Both from the same string of beads. On the far right is snakeskin agate, which I adore.

These will probably be saved for my 'hopeful' Misi store, which still has to be looked at, let alone set up, lol. I'll get there.

Speaking of which, I'm still unsure of what to call the store. Do we think Jewellery by RMC, just like my store/webpage, or something different? I'm thinking the same, but opinions are always welcome.

Uhm... only other thing is a bit of a downer. My bead bracelets that were in a local store are now not in a local store. She was willing to give them a month, which she did, and nothing sold. :( Do you wanna bet now that they're no longer available there, someone will go in and ask? *sigh* It's all a learning curve, and in the lap of the gods I know, but it still kinda sucks. She's willing to keep on my business cards though, which I guess is something.

Okay, gonna go. Maybe catch up with other blogs, or maybe do something else. Not sure, lol. Depends on how the head behaves.

Don't you just love it? Ordered from Beads direct with their discount voucher, and I figured, may as well order a fair bit, to make the voucher really worthwhile. (lol, I love my way of thinking)

It arrived today, SUCH a heavy parcel!!! I wasn't expecting it to be quite so hefty, and dear lord, when I opened it and looked inside... ohhhhhh wow, they're glorious! I'm like a kid with new toys. Seriously.

I've found that I adore peace stone (form of jade?), and have some gorgeous jaspers too. Black obsidian, agates, turquoise, amethyst... I'm drooling at the thought! Might post some pics if I get round to it, if not, you'll just see the finished pieces. I have nothing planned for them though. Not yet. I'll take my time, and just see what happens.

I'm planning on starting up a Misi store, so you should see some of the new pieces there as well as my site.

Yep, I've been busy today. I couldn't yesterday, as my brother, sister in law, and 5 nieces were here. Yep. 5 nieces. LOL. Kinda hectic. So, I got very little achieved yesterday at all.

But, today so far I've ordered some new pillow boxes for my pieces, in a couple of sizes and ordered some new gemstones from Beads Direct because of the discount I was sent. Spending money is the last thing I need right now, but what the hell. :p

Been trying to order from Panduro, but can't. Will persevere, but I keep getting a page not found error when I try to pay for the order. I've emailed, and am waiting to hear back. I'll try again later, but at the moment I can't do anything more. Shame, as it's a relatively big order, and things I kinda fancied from them. Want to try and fancy up my packaging if customers want it, and for my fine silver range. But, if I can't order from them, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere. *sigh*

I think that's it. I wanted to get some pieces made up this weekend, but time is against me. Since yesterday was pretty much spoken for, and today is kinda busy too, I might have to wait until next weekend.

Omg, just been compared to Lilly Allen!

Yep, tis my birthday. 21 again... aka 35. Didn't do anything apart from work, so nothing to report on that end. New bag, and cash because apparently I'm difficult to buy for. LOL.

Only other news is that my boss's fiancé had a look at my website and was very impressed. I like it when I get told things like that, so I'm sure she won't mind me mentioning it here. ;)

I started this blog in the hope that I'd be able to attend it on a regular basis, and post updates, show new pieces, ask things, talk about things... and I've done very little of that lately. :(

Just wanted to say that, and that I'm REALLY busy this week, with staff shortages, illness, holidays, cutbacks etc, and am just whacked... and it's only Tuesday. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the week. I probably won't be around much at all until the weekend, and then I have all the boring real life things to catch up with, lol.

Yep, business has been neglected tonight. Not only have I had the delights of the corrie wedding, but things on comic relief that have been funny or intrigued me.

David Tennant rocking with Franz Ferdinand!!! Woop! Too cool. Loved Corden and the England players too. Quite a cool night.

Been twittering like a fool though some of it though, or just watching the posts come up.

Just finished my main present for Mothers Day. She liked another Carnelian necklace I made, so I did this one for her. She was gutted when I sold the other one, lol.

I really like the colour of this, and the central pendant is actually a little lighter than this image makes it seem. All finished with sterling silver of course, with a lovely extender chain.

Really like this one!

Other news... nothing much. Playing with art clay, having to make repairs for the first time. Hope it works when I fire it, lol. Using paste/slip, so fingers crossed. Because of the repair, I guess this pendant will be another for me, which is fine (lol). I can't guarantee the quality of it, so I'd rather not risk selling it.

Practice makes perfect, right? At least that's what I hear.

Also making another smaller pendant, with a flower stencil. Now, the last time I used a stencil it didn't work and I had to do most of it by hand. Hmmm. *ponders* Time will tell if I made a wise move here, lol

First off, why do I always have headaches on my days off?! Unfair!! Yesterday and today. *humph*

Anyway, I now have Facebook and MySpace, so if anyone wants me to add them, holler. Still playing around, and can't for the life of me figure out the url to my Facebook page, and you know it's gonna be something simple, right?

This necklace is something I do occasionally, and have sold a few. I don't have any on my site at the moment, but I might add one eventually. It's sterling silver and Swarovski crystal. This one is actually still for sale, I just don't know if I'm using it on the site, or taking it for a mini stall in the summer. Maybe I should add it to the site now, and if it doesn't sell, take it then..? Oh decisions.

I can't quite believe this.

Heard of Moshulu shoes? Well, Moshulu Dumfries now have some of my bracelets! In a real store. With windows and a door and everything! *faints* Seriously, is this really happening?

They're lampwork beaded bracelets, fairly simply put together, but the colours are really nice. Beads are from Beadservice (gotta do a name check) and gorgeous, btw. The colours are really pretty and match the colours of Moshulu shoes 'this season'.

We'll see what happens, but for now, they have 7 of my bracelets, 3 actually in the window!

Woooo!! First post!

Well, I finally decided to get a blog. I usually don't do these things as my life isn't nearly that exciting. But, now that I've started my own business, and want it to thrive and be awesome, then I figured why not?

I'll mainly update this with any new jewellery that I create, or for ideas and inspiration if it's lacking. Sometimes my muse hides, and she usually prefers me to be in pain. *nods* Honest, that seems to be when I'm my most creative, when I'm in pain with a headache. I know, I'm strange.

Anyway, it's Sunday night, so I'm away to watch some mindless telly before bed. I've been off work for a week, and I can't believe I'm back tomorrow.
